So we at The Conscience Collective absolutely LOVE (yes, in CAPS) CHRISTOPHER RAEBURN. Of course he represents an ethical fashion brand that is in-keeping with our collective ethos, but we also just love his designs. He described his ideal client as one who is “looking for something different, ethically intelligent and proudly
remade in England,” which describes the women at the helm of the collective to a T. Although we three have different aesthetics, they all meld into a collective perspective on how these aesthetics can be played out. For me, my fashion identity came into being whilst living in the UK, with the heavy influences of the countries I have had the pleasure of living and growing up in. For the other girls, this is very much the same.
The soundtrack blasted, and suddenly the club kid inside emerged. The NCP car park became the backdrop, the arena, the clubhouse for Henry Holland's HOUSE OF HOLLAND with the music as loud as the prints the models rocked. Neon Tartans, bold florals, and acidic tie-dyes, which reeked a juxtaposition of eclectic and sophistication. I am currently obsessing over his neon tartan trousers (to DIE FOR!)
